Our Ronald McDonald House Family Room program is directly inside the Wesley Children’s Hospital in Building 1 on the 5th floor. The room is situated between the Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. We provide home-like, quiet spaces that give families the ability to rest and recharge during the long days of testing or treatment. You can find a comfortable place to relax, food, hygiene products and laundry facilities. Our Family Room hours may vary depending on volunteer availability. Our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart Program provides bedside amenities and comfort to parents and other caregivers while they remain with their hospitalized child.
Several times a week volunteers make rounds in the Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care units with the hospitality cart to provide items of care and comfort to the parents and siblings of hospitalized kids. The cart is filled with complimentary breakfast items, snacks, and coffee.
Ronald McDonald House Wichita provides comfort, care and support for families with children who are sick.
