Ronald McDonald House Wichita is a 20-bedroom House that provides a comfortable place to stay for families who have traveled to Wichita while their child receives medical care. We help ease the financial and emotional burden of having a child in the hospital by providing families with a place to rest, meals, and a supportive community close to their child.
Ronald McDonald House Wichita provides families with a private room featuring two queen-size beds and a private bathroom, along with access to meals, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a playroom, and comfortable common areas.
Our goal is to make things a little easier for families while they focus on their child’s medical care. Families staying with us receive at least one hot meal each day, along with the comfort and support of having other families nearby who understand what they are going through.
To qualify for a stay, families must live 30 miles or more from the hospital and all adults staying at the House must be able to pass a background check.
